I think I have a pinched nerve. What kind of doctor should I see first? ?
(Ie, chiropractic, family physician)? In addition, I have no insurance. I live near Carrollton, Georgia I believe it is at or near the hip, it hurts when I move the leg or lower back that gets worse at night, but helps off during the day and with ibuprofen or ice.
You prolly need a neurosurgeon to nerve issues, but SO expensive! You'll need MRI to show the nerves and that is $$$$. Chiropractic takes weeks / months to show a real improvement. You should prolly appointment. w / family Physcia and get a pain pill and tips. Find a doctor with a sliding fee scale ………. based on income? There's one in my city that only charges $ 15 for my brother who has a limited income $ 1200/mo. Not necessarily advertising, so – call your hospital or just open the yellow pages and ask each a call to request a sliding fee scale. Good luck!
