Should I change from breast milk to formula?
Ok, I need help here. My girl who is exactly 12 weeks from today is very colic (although she is doing much better). Or crying, sleeping or eating, there is no middle ground with her. I've been breast feeding since birth. I think it has trouble digesting it when you poop, you can hear a mile away … and farts, oh my! My husband, sister and my mom thinks I should change to the formula. But all the research on the internet, and my chiropractor dr and said that breast milk is easier to digest than formula. So is there any advantage or disadvantage to give my baby formula from time to time? Will it help her? His interruption of gas is not your night's sleep. She has been sleeping thought the night in the last couple of weeks (last night went to bed at 9:30 and woke up this morning at 9:30). Any suggestions will be appreciated. I will go find my husband so you can read their responses. Thanks!
I have breastfed all my 3 children and found that in the first couple of months is good to step back in milk, coffee and vegetables such as cabbage, or anything that gave me gas. I heard from a friend, especially cow's milk can sometimes give a hard time babys. In some so that the lactose in the milk gets mothers and give the baby diarrhea and so on. Well, my babies poop and gas had strong roots, sometimes all came to his underwear diaper and that is normal … Breast milk is the nature of production of milk so it could not be better to give something made by man? You must stick to their babies crying breatsfeeding time stops, it is not unsafe because it is crying more than others, perhaps, that is the way it is, some cry more and other less mourn. You are doing the right thing. Go with your feelings!
